Who we are
Gold Coast Pool Resurfacing, Gold Coast, Queensland. Phone 0416 565 368 or email gcoastpoolresurfacing@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you use our quote form or contact us, we collect:
- your name, phone number and email
- the pool's address
- details about your pool (size, shape, condition and colour) and any photos you add
- how you heard about us, and any notes you write
When you visit the site, Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) use cookies to count visits and see which ads bring enquiries. The address suggestions in our form come from Google Maps, which receives what you type in the address box.
How we use it
- to work out your price, send it to us and contact you about it
- to book and do the job
- to improve our website and our ads
We never sell your details, and we don't use them for anything unrelated to your pool. We won't add you to a mailing list.
Who else handles it
Only the services that run this website for us: our website host (Vercel), the email service that delivers your request to our inbox (Resend), Google (address suggestions and ads) and Meta (ads on Facebook and Instagram; when you get a price we also tell Meta, sending your email and phone only in a scrambled form it can match to its own accounts). They only use it to provide those services. Some of them store data outside Australia.
Saved on your device
The quote form saves your answers in your browser, so you can pick up where you left off, and keeps your price for 30 days. This stays on your device. To clear it, press "Start again" in the form or clear this site's data in your browser.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it for your quote, your job and our business records.
Seeing, fixing or deleting your details
Call or email us and we'll show you what we have, correct it or delete it. If you're not happy with how we handled your details, tell us first. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
The online price
- It's worked out from the answers you give, and it's good for 30 days.
- It assumes those answers are right. If your pool is bigger or smaller than you told us, or has damage we couldn't see (like large cracks, hollow spots or osmosis), we'll tell you before we start and agree any change with you.
- Sending a booking request doesn't lock you in. Your booking is confirmed once we've agreed the start date with you and received the 50% deposit.
- Pool painting needs dry weather, so rain can move the start date.
